There's nothing more frustrating than shopping in New Bern for something specific. This entire day has been wasted on route 70 from Havelock to New Bern. I've been trying to find a specific birthday present for my youngest son and a semi-formal dress for my oldest daughter. No luck, in any store, I've been to Belks, The Peacock's Plum, the Exchange, Target, Penny's, Walmart, Kaboodles, Snap Dragon Toys...NOTHING!
Tomorrow's another day.
