I packed the lot of us up and drove to northern Virginia for a quick visit to Bama and Papa's house on our way to NJ. Nearly six hours in the car with four kids and one of the dogs!
It was actually kind of nice! We talked, sang songs, read books (they read, I drove), and enjoyed some forced together time. It made me proud to NOT have a DVD player in my car. I think some of our best conversations are on the road.
Tomorrow I will travel further north with just the older kids...this should be good!
